Alabanza y adoracion

WHAT IS WORSHIP?Praise is to speak well of someone, to express admiration for someone, give compliments, recommend, commend, applaud, praise, flatter.Worship is expressing reverence, have a sense of fear, bowing before the object of worship, pay homage.Worship is the highest form of praise. Generally, we begin to praise and worship just. The word worship (worship in English) is derived from an Old English word (worthship) meaning "to recognize the value and dignity" and "react appropriately to" such dignity.1. An AttitudeWorship is first and foremost a heart attitude. Is the occupation of the human heart reverent toward his Creator. It begins with an internal whisper of the heart. A profound meditation on the greatness and dignity of God. It taste or savor the admiration we feel for God. It is an inner sense of awe and respect for the Almighty.2. An overflowingSecond, it is an overflow or flow of thoughts and emotions that flow spontaneously. Need not be driven or forced. Our cup, and like David, must "be full" (Psalm 23:5).3. A SpillThird, is the outpouring of the soul in profound expressions of reverence, awe, wonder and worship.B. EARLY BIBLICAL REFERENCES TO WORSHIPOne of the principles of biblical interpretation, is the "law of first mention", which states that the first biblical mention of any given topic or issue a clear indication of its meaning and importance wherever it appears in the Bible. It is the key to understanding the content of that word or theme through the Scriptures. The first mention of the word worship is in Genesis 22:5. Abraham, speaking to young people who accompanied him and Isaac to Mount Moriah, he said, "I and the lad will go yonder and worship." The term is used here or voice shachah (pronounced Shaka) which means to bow before anyone, bowing with reverence, respect and humble tribute.Consider what Abraham did when adored. The first mention or reference of worship teaches us many lessons.1. God ordered Abraham to go and PraisePraise and worship is not an option we can decide to do or not do like a caprice or whim. It is a commandment of God.When the Bible says: "Praise the Lord GOD," is not a suggestion or appeal, but rather a mandate. There are no exceptions to this rule. Every child of God must be a praiser and worshiper of God.2. The Reaction Of Obedience Abraham wasThis obedience was essential for the preservation of the covenant relationship with God.God and he had entered a pact or agreement, which required absolute obedience and devotion to Him AbrahamGod was about to test the sincerity and integrity of the delivery of Abraham. He was requiring the sacrifice of what Abraham considered the most precious thing in your home: Isaac, the son of promise.3. The act of worship is ExpensiveThe act of worship would cost Abraham his offering better and higher value.Actually going to be a "sacrifice of praise" (Heb. 13:15). Demand a life of worship and all that we have (Ro 12:1, 2). There must be a total gift of ourselves to God, to become a true worshiper. David also understood this principle when he said: "... For the LORD will not offer burnt offerings that cost me nothing" (2 S 24:24).4. The act of worship is an act of faithEvery step that Abraham gave that day was one of faith. When I went to Mount Moriah, knowing that God had required the offering of his beloved son, knew by faith that somehow he and Isaac back together again (Genesis 22:5).5. The Submission Of IAbraham was not only prepared to offer Isaac, but would also offer their own plans, desires, ambitions and desires for the future. His future was linked inevitably with that boy.He was the son God had promised, through whom all the promises of the covenant be verified (fulfilled). By surrendering in obedience that way, it was like to deliver all that was required to be fulfilled. He surrendered himself. We can never enter into true worship until it has been a complete surrender of ourselves to God. He is always self or ego get in the way of worship, so we give it to God in submission.6. Worship glorifies GodThe act of worship Abraham expensive glorified God. How sublime and glorious must be the One through whom Abraham was willing to sacrifice his beloved son, in order to yield a real worship in obedience and faith!God tells us in Psalm 50:23: "He that offereth praise ... I will honor." Any act of sincere worship glorifies God.7. The worshiper is also blessedGod's response to the act of worship of Abraham, indicates His pleasure and His desire to bless every worshiper: "... because you have done this and have not spared thy only begotten son, I bless thee with blessings and multiply your seed as the stars of heaven and as the sand on the seashore, and thy seed possess the gate of his enemies ... because you have obeyed my voice "(Genesis 22:16-18).The story of Mary (Jn 12:3), who anointed Jesus' feet with oil of great price, is a beautiful example of worship. John tells us that after "... wiped His feet with her hair ...".Imagine the exquisite fragrance that lead in their hair. Of course, wherever he went, people would notice that exquisite perfume or fragrance. The same applies to the worshipers. Their lives are an exquisite fragrance by all parties where they go. Or perfume is the fragrance of the glorious presence of the Lord!C. WORSHIP IN THE TABERNACLE typifiedA further principle of biblical interpretation is the "law of the repeated mention." This principle says that the amount of treatment and space given to a particular subject indicates its importance. Consider how much space is devoted to the description of the Tabernacle. 1. The Vital Nature of WorshipSince the primary purpose of the Tabernacle was the worship of God, we see that He is communicating the vital nature of worship, and the tremendous importance given. The first part of the accessories described God Tabernacle (Ex 25:22) is the Ark of the Covenant. The lid of this box is known by the name of the mercy seat. God said, "... I will meet you and I communicate with you from the mercy seat ...". The chamber (the Holy of Holies) where the ark was housed, was where God gathered and had fellowship with man face to face. It was the place of worship. In the order of the Old Covenant, that wonderful privilege was something exclusive to the High Priests, and once a year: the Day of Atonement. How blessed we are under the terms of the New Covenant, as we are privileged to have continued access or entry into the holiest by the blood of Christ!Basic education implicit in the Tabernacle for us Christians is worship. God had brought His people out of Egypt with mighty hand and powerful (Ex 32:11). Once completely freed from Egyptian oppression, the first thing God did was to commission the building of the Tabernacle to Moses. The first wish of God, after the liberation from Egypt (sin and slavery), is initiated into the ministry of worship.2. Order and Progress of WorshipThe Tabernacle teaches us about the order and progression of worship. When you enter the outer court of the Tabernacle, the first thing you saw was the brazen altar of sacrifice. This was where God was in charge of expiating the sins and iniquities of the people there, God forgive all their sins. Then came the Bronze source, type of cleaning that is received by the source of water by the Word. The future worshiper had to pass through these two experiences before coming to the curtains of the holy place.Within that room was the table of shewbread, the seven-branched candlestick and the golden altar of incense, which have profound significance in the teaching of worship. Finally, there was the Holy of Holies, that sacred and solemn place of the meeting that typified the highest and purest forms of praise and worship. It is such a place, to where the Holy Spirit wants to lead. There is a definite progression in learning the skills of worship. God wants to lead us through all different stages until we get to last place of worship sacred, that place behind the veil where God dwells.May God bless you and keep you
